Salon Privacy Policy: I operate strictly by appointment via the Timely booking system only. This ensures that every client receives dedicated, private 'me time' without interruption. We do not accept walk-in appointments. Privacy for my clients is a priority for me and the location reflects that, ensuring you feel safe an secure at all times.

By accessing or using our website, booking services, payment services, or engaging with us, you agree to the terms of this Privacy and Security Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for the operation of our business and to provide you with safe and tailored beauty services.

Contact Information:  Name, email address, phone number, physical address. To schedule, confirm, and remind you of appointments; to respond to inquiries; for marketing (with consent).

Booking & Service Data: Appointment history, service preferences, staff preference, allergy/medical information (required for treatment safety). To manage your bookings, provide safe and tailored services, and maintain accurate client records.

Payment Information: Partial payment details (e.g., last 4 digits of card, transaction ID). Note: Full card details are processed securely by our Third-Party Payment Processor (Timely online and Timely or Worldline NFC in Salon), and are NOT stored by Go You Beauty. To process payments, deposits, and manage cancellation/no-show fees.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, time spent on the Google Site pages. To monitor website traffic, improve website functionality, and understand visitor usage.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

To Fulfil Services: To provide and manage the beauty services you request safely.

Communication: To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates.

Client Management: To maintain accurate client records for service safety and history.

Marketing: To send promotional offers, newsletters, and information about new services, only where you have explicitly given your consent (you can opt-out at any time).

Security & Safety: To protect our business, prevent fraud, and ensure the safety of our treatments (e.g., reviewing allergy/medical history).

Digital Storage: All booking data and digital client records are stored securely within our third-party booking system, Timely, which is a professional, industry-standard tool.

Hard Copy Security: Any hard copies of client information and Client Care Consultation Forms are secured outside the salon area in my private, locked office where only I have access. They are not left within the salon premises.

Website Security: As a Google Site, the website benefits from Google's standard security infrastructure.

Staff Access: Access to your personal information is restricted only to me (the owner/operator of Go You Beauty) and staff who strictly require it to perform their duties.

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate our business efficiently. When we share your data with these parties, we only disclose the minimum information necessary for them to perform their service, and we ensure they adhere to appropriate data protection and privacy standards.

5.1 Timely Bookings (Our Dedicated Data Processor)

Our core booking, payment processing, and client management are handled by Timely Bookings (from the company Timely), which acts as a Data Processor on our behalf.

Information Shared: Name, contact details, service history, and any information you provide during the booking process (e.g., consultation form answers).

Purpose: To manage our appointment schedule, send automated reminders (SMS and email), process payments securely, and maintain your digital client record.

Timely's Role in Privacy: Timely securely stores and processes this information. We encourage you to review the Timely Privacy Policy on their website to understand their data security and processing practices: When you book online, you are acknowledging that your data will be processed through the Timely system.

5.2 Other Third Parties

Google Analytics (or Google Site Analytics): Non-personally identifiable usage data (IP address, browser type, page views). To track and analyse website traffic and performance.

Social Media Links (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, & TikTok): To allow you to connect with our social media profiles. Note: If you click these links, the privacy policy of the social media platform applies.

Worldline NFC mobile Payments. Enables processing of Near Field Communication payments in the salon. This is a tap to pay service, accepting debit and credit cards. Using these services results in acceptance of Worldline's privacy policy.  View this Worldline link to view the policy.

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
